Senior Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer, Stats and Insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive business-critical product areas including scorekeeping, fan experiences, and team management
• Design, build, and operate scalable, high-performance backend services in production
• Lead projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years in a software development role
• 4+ years of experience building production backend systems using Node.js, TypeScript, Python, or comparable technologies
• Experience leading technical design and implementation of complex backend systems
• Experience with API design, service boundaries, and data contracts
• Preferred experience with systems deployed in an AWS environment
