Senior Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Backend.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services and infrastructure for core platform functionality
• Build and maintain reliable APIs and service interfaces to support application needs
• Collaborate with product and engineering partners to translate system requirements into technical solutions

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in backend software engineering with a focus on service-oriented architectures
• Strong proficiency in at least one backend programming language (Python, Java, Go, etc.)
• Experience designing and consuming APIs (REST, GraphQL, gRPC, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or similar)
