Senior Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely from Taiwan, the full-time Senior Backend Software Engineer will design and implement scalable backend systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experiences through AI technology.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop robust backend services and APIs to support AI-driven applications
• Collaborate with frontend engineers and product managers to define and implement new features
• Optimize system performance and scalability to handle increasing user demands

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in backend development with languages such as Python, Java, or Go
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and cloud technologies
• Experience with database systems, both SQL and NoSQL
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
• Knowledge of AI and machine learning principles is a plus
