Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer with expertise in PHP and Python, this fully remote contractor position will focus on designing and developing server-side features and services while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance user experiences over a maximum duration of one year.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side features and services, including e-commerce platforms and internal tools
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design, implement, and test user stories and technical solutions
• Continuously improve service quality, performance, and reliability through code reviews and automated testing

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in PHP and Python development, including OOP and testing methodologies
• Familiarity with automated code validation and testing practices
• Experience in building and maintaining services used by a large user base
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment
