Senior Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a dynamic team, the full-time remote Senior Backend Software Engineer will focus on developing cloud-based analytics solutions using Java Spring Boot for government clients, while also enhancing backend systems and microservices architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust backend solutions and microservices architectures
• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and relational/NoSQL databases
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify backend best practices and support customer needs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline
• 12+ years of professional backend software development experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot framework
• Expert-level proficiency in the Spring ecosystem, including Spring MVC and Spring Data
• Strong experience with Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices
