Senior Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Payments team, the full-time Senior Backend Software Engineer will design and build scalable backend systems for payment processing, ensuring high reliability and correctness for financial transactions while working remotely and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable, fault-tolerant backend services for payment processing using Go
• Own end-to-end delivery of payment features, from technical design through production deployment
• Drive improvements to system reliability, observability, and performance across payment services

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in backend software engineering with a focus on service-oriented or microservices architecture
• Proficiency in Go or similar backend languages, with experience in designing scalable APIs and distributed systems
• Track record of owning features end-to-end in a fast-moving environment
• Experience with financial systems or high-volume transactional systems requiring precision
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly to enhance workflow efficiency and quality
