Senior Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

Building and owning core backend services, the full-time Senior Backend Software Engineer will develop the Go control plane and APIs for a validation layer, focusing on enterprise features like RBAC and SSO in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain HTTP and gRPC APIs, along with the SDKs generated from them
• Build enterprise features such as RBAC, SSO, audit logging, and multi-tenancy
• Ensure the reliability and observability of the systems owned from design through production

Required qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of experience building backend systems in production
• Strong proficiency in Go or significant experience in another systems language with a willingness to work primarily in Go
• Solid understanding of distributed systems fundamentals
• Experience designing APIs for use by other teams
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes
