Senior Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

Designing and developing backend software solutions, the full-time Senior Backend Software Engineer will create APIs and business logic to support digital products while collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing technical guidance to junior developers in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs to enable frontend functionality
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure backend solutions meet feature requirements and support platform health
• Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and participate in code reviews to uphold engineering standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology, or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years of professional software development experience with production-grade systems
• Deep expertise in C# and .NET, including ASP.NET Web APIs and modern .NET frameworks
• Proven experience designing scalable application architectures, such as Microservices or Clean Architecture
• Hands-on experience with relational databases and cloud environments like Azure, AWS, or GCP
