Job Summary

To tackle complex distributed systems challenges, the full-time Senior Backend Software Engineer will design and evolve infrastructure in Go for a high-scale marketing automation platform, ensuring reliability and performance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and evolve distributed systems to handle billions of daily events and messages
• Lead architectural decisions focused on performance, reliability, and real-time event processing
• Collaborate across teams to identify and resolve system bottlenecks for improved customer experience

Required qualifications

• Significant experience (typically 10+ years) in building scalable, distributed systems in Go or similar languages
• Deep knowledge of relational and non-relational databases and performance optimization
• Experience working in cloud-native environments such as AWS or GCP
• Familiarity with APIs, observability, and operating production systems
• A proactive approach to technical decision-making and ownership
