Senior Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Backend Software Engineer will develop robust and scalable applications, focusing on building intricate backend systems and high-performing microservices.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement complex backend systems and microservices to support data visualizations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system architecture and database design
• Maintain high availability of event-driven systems while addressing scalability and performance improvements

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in building intricate backend systems
• Strong knowledge of Node.js and experience with SQL and noSQL databases (Postgres, MongoDB, Elasticsearch)
• Proficiency in Docker and container orchestration tools
• Experience with Continuous Integration and test-driven development
• Ability to quickly learn complex systems and new technologies
