Senior Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of a cutting-edge payments infrastructure, the full-time Senior Backend Software Engineer will design and maintain scalable backend services using C# and .NET, focusing on payment routing and platform configuration in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services for payment routing and connector management
• Develop secure, extensible APIs that support customer-facing applications and integrations
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to platform architecture and engineering standards

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building production backend services
• Strong experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem
• Experience in Payments, FinTech, or high-volume transaction processing environments
• Proficiency in designing RESTful and/or event-driven APIs
• Strong understanding of relational databases and distributed systems
