Job Summary
As a full-time Senior Backend Software Engineer, the successful candidate will maintain and improve the API server codebase, collaborate on frameworks and SDKs, and enhance the performance and scalability of backend systems in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Implement changes to the API and SDK to facilitate server/client communication
- Identify and improve inefficiencies within the backend codebase
- Collaborate on critical architectural decisions and participate in system design and redesign
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of software development experience with TypeScript and Node.js
- 2+ years of experience writing scalable and performant server-side code
- Experience creating detailed documentation for technical projects
- Willingness to mentor and train other teams through documentation and live sessions
- Familiarity with version control and CI/CD systems such as GitHub, Bitbucket, and GitLab
