Senior Backend Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of clinical AI products, the fully remote Senior Backend Software Engineer will design, build, and launch backend services that integrate machine learning models and LLM capabilities, collaborating closely with Data Scientists and Product Engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement backend services incorporating LLMs and machine learning models
- Develop production-grade workflows for model inference and AI application patterns
- Collaborate with Data Scientists to transition models from exploration to reliable production systems
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of software development experience with a focus on backend and cloud-based systems
- Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript with strong software engineering fundamentals
- Experience building LLM-powered applications deployed in production
- Experience designing APIs, services, and data models for distributed systems
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
