Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Backup Administrator who will perform advanced backup duties and support storage system users.

Key Responsibilities

Perform daily system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware and server resources
Install, upgrade, and configure backup appliances and data protection software
Handle high priority tickets and assist with system recovery and data restores

Required Qualifications

BA/BS degree and 4-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience
Experience with Dell EMC Ecosystem, including Avamar and PowerProtect
Incident response and crisis management experience
Ability to work in high-pressure recovery scenarios
Familiarity with scripting/automation tools such as PowerShell or Python is a plus
