Senior Backup Administrator

Job Summary

To ensure robust data protection and recovery, the full-time Senior Backup Administrator will design and maintain Cyber Recovery vault architecture, manage air-gapped vault operations, and troubleshoot backup activities while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain Cyber Recovery vault architecture and manage air-gapped vault operations
• Analyze logs, monitor backup activity, and troubleshoot Cyber Recovery jobs to ensure data integrity
• Develop and implement automated solutions for backup policies and procedures, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders

Required qualifications

• BA/BS degree with 6-8 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with DataDomain, Avamar, and PPDM
• Proven ability to conduct cyber recovery drills and manage backup environment performance tuning
• Strong understanding of storage allocation, backup, and data restoration processes
• Familiarity with configuring and managing user access protocols in storage systems
