Senior Bank Reconciliation Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Senior Bank Reconciliation Analyst will manage compliance with investor and regulatory requirements for bank account reconciliations, ensuring adherence to GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley standards while identifying process improvements and automation opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform reconciliation functions in compliance with company and regulatory guidelines
• Reconcile various accounts, including custodial accounts and payment clearing accounts, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies
• Develop and maintain process flows, acting as a liaison between departments and vendors for system enhancements

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with payment and disbursement clearing account reconciliation in mortgage servicing
• Advanced skills in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with data retrieval tools
• Strong analytical, organizational, and mathematical skills
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments and work independently or collaboratively
