Senior Banking Engineer

Job Summary

Hands-on and detail-oriented, the full-time Senior Banking Engineer will design and implement secure, scalable backend systems and APIs for a growing banking platform while working in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services using Node.js (TypeScript) and Java, and build GraphQL APIs for system integrations
• Implement data models and access controls in DynamoDB to ensure secure data separation between business entities
• Translate high-level business vision into practical engineering solutions while contributing to CI/CD pipelines and improving engineering practices

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong backend development skills in Node.js/TypeScript and Java & Springboot
• Experience designing and consuming GraphQL APIs and working with AWS Cloud
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases, preferably DynamoDB
• Solid understanding of data modeling, API design, and secure data access controls
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, monitoring, and reliability
