Senior Benefits Configuration Tester

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior Benefits Configuration Tester will validate complex benefit configurations through advanced test cases, support junior team members, and serve as a liaison with senior Benefit Operations staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency in healthcare testing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Organize testing suites and create test plans to validate benefit configuration setups
• Act as a liaison with senior Benefit Operations members to resolve discrepancies and clarify plan designs
• Provide guidance and peer review for junior team members to ensure testing accuracy

Required qualifications

• 2 - 4 years of experience in benefits configuration or testing in healthcare, preferably in PBM or managed care
• Associate degree or equivalent work experience
• Strong understanding of benefit design standards, including HIPAA and NCPDP
• Ability to work independently with minimal instruction
• Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
