Senior Benefits Manager
Job Summary
Owning the strategy and operational excellence of US and global benefits programs, the full-time remote Senior Benefits Manager will lead the benefits function, partner with cross-functional teams, and ensure a high-impact employee wellbeing program that scales with the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute the strategy, design, and roadmap for competitive benefits programs while tracking performance metrics
- Lead and mentor the benefits team, fostering strong partnerships with People, Payroll, Finance, and Legal to implement effective policies
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee compliance with all relevant regulations, ensuring operational excellence in benefits administration
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive US benefits experience, including program strategy and design
- 3+ years of experience leading a benefits function and managing staff or vendor relationships
- Deep expertise in health & welfare programs and benefits compliance (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, NDT, 5500s)
- Experience with Workday Benefits and advanced proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments, particularly in scaling technology companies
