Senior BESS Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior BESS Engineer to provide technical leadership for battery energy storage projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing engineering recommendations and design alternatives
• Lead the design of utility-scale and commercial BESS, including associated equipment and systems
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support technical negotiations with utilities

Required Qualifications

• 7-12+ years of electrical or power engineering experience
• 5+ years of direct experience with BESS or utility-scale power projects
• Experience in an engineering consulting, EPC, or utility advisory role
• Strong knowledge of medium- and high-voltage systems
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
