Senior BI Data Engineer

Job Summary

Designing and optimizing scalable data and analytics solutions, the full-time Senior BI Data Engineer will work remotely to empower business leaders with actionable insights through Azure cloud technologies, Power BI, and Tableau.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient ETL/ELT data pipelines integrating data from multiple source systems
• Develop and manage modern data architectures leveraging Azure Cloud services and Snowflake
• Create and maintain semantic models and analytics structures optimized for Power BI and Tableau

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field; master's degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in a Data Engineer or similar data-focused role
• Strong experience with business intelligence platforms, particularly Power BI and Tableau
• Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python or Scala
• Experience with Azure-based analytics and data architecture, including Azure Data Factory and Synapse
