Senior BI Developer
Job Summary
To design, build, and own BI and reporting solutions for a fast-paced multi-tenant Life Science Data Management Platform, the full-time Senior BI Developer will leverage deep expertise in TIBCO Spotfire and Power BI while managing end-to-end delivery of BI solutions and mentoring team members, all in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reporting solutions in TIBCO Spotfire
- Own end-to-end delivery of BI solutions, including requirements gathering, data modeling, and report/dashboard development
- Shape design approach and architecture for data models and calculations, establishing patterns for other developers
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of BI development experience with significant expertise in TIBCO Spotfire
- Experience with Power BI and adaptability to work across multiple BI platforms
- Strong data modeling skills, including star schema and performance tuning
- Familiarity with multi-tenant data architecture and Row-Level Security (RLS)
- Practical experience with GitHub in a team deployment workflow
