Senior BI Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design and implementation of a modern data ingestion ecosystem, the full-time Senior BI Engineer will architect a unified framework into Snowflake, mentor engineers, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver enterprise-grade data solutions in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop a standardized data ingestion framework into Snowflake, ensuring scalability and security
• Serve as the technical lead for data ingestion initiatives, mentoring BI developers and overseeing best practices
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to translate ingestion requirements into scalable technical solutions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 7-10 years of professional experience in data engineering, with 5+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake
• 4-6 years of experience building data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric Pipelines or equivalent tools
• 5+ years of enterprise SQL experience, including advanced SQL Server work and Change Data Capture (CDC) implementation
• 3+ years of experience leading data engineering initiatives or serving as a technical lead on ingestion projects
