Senior BI Engineer
Job Summary
Product-minded and experienced, the full-time Senior BI Engineer will focus on KPI reporting, data pipeline management, and building dashboards while working remotely to support MyFitnessPal's Business Intelligence team.
Key responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance on reporting data pipelines and business logic to ensure data quality
- Create and maintain dashboards and visualizations to provide actionable insights for stakeholders
- Collaborate with Data Engineering to architect data models and support data democratization efforts
Required qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience in BI Engineering or Analytics Engineering roles
- Advanced to Expert SQL proficiency
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
- Familiarity with programming languages like Python or R for analytics
- Experience building data warehouses and ETL pipelines (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
