Senior BI Front End Architect

Job Summary

To enhance the enterprise Power BI and Microsoft Fabric platform, the full-time Senior BI Front End Architect will design and implement a cohesive reporting ecosystem, optimize UX/UI standards, and mentor BI developers while working in a hybrid environment based in St. Paul, MN or remotely within the USA.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate existing reporting environments into a unified Power BI + Fabric platform and establish front-end governance
• Create and maintain a design system for Power BI, standardizing navigation and building reusable visual templates
• Coach BI teams on DAX patterns and UX standards, while documenting best practices for consistent delivery

Required qualifications

• 8+ years in BI/analytics with 4+ years leading Power BI front end architecture at an enterprise scale
• Proven ability to collaborate with data engineering teams and understand end-to-end data acquisition flows
• Demonstrated success in consolidating disparate BI estates into a unified Fabric/Power BI platform
• Deep expertise in DAX performance tuning, model design, and capacity optimization
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD for BI, including Git and deployment pipelines
