Senior BI Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the administration and governance of the Microsoft Fabric and Power BI platform, the full-time Senior BI Platform Engineer will manage data integration pipelines, enforce security protocols, and collaborate with business stakeholders in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Fabric tenants and optimize performance, reliability, and cost across the OneLake ecosystem
• Manage Power BI tenant settings and enforce governance standards for content sharing and access
• Build and maintain data integration pipelines while ensuring secure access for BI tools and AI data agents

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience administering Microsoft data/analytics platforms, specifically Fabric and/or Power BI
• Strong knowledge of Fabric tenant administration and workspace governance
• Experience in building data integration pipelines from diverse source systems
• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, and data governance best practices
• Proficiency in PowerShell and REST API scripting/automation
