Senior Billing Clerk

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Billing Clerk/Patient Account Representative for Medicare/Medicare Advantage Insurance Professional Receivables.

Key Responsibilities

• Status patient accounts for nonpayment and initiate follow-up actions
• Monitor and analyze Medicare/Medicare Advantage reimbursement levels
• Review claim forms for accuracy and maintain unit productivity and quality assurance

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of Medical Insurance reimbursement policies and procedures
• 1-2 years of office experience, including at least six months in a hospital or physician business office
• Proficiency in use of computers and software, including Microsoft Office
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a timely manner
