Senior Billing Specialist

Job Summary

To support the growing complexity of billing operations, the full-time remote Senior Billing & Collections Specialist will manage invoice accuracy, oversee daily cash applications, and guide team members on billing workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Review customer contracts to determine correct billing treatment and process complex invoices and credit memos
• Ensure accuracy of invoices processed by the team and respond to customer billing inquiries in a timely manner
• Monitor accounts receivable aging, manage past-due accounts, and collaborate cross-functionally on billing and collections

Required qualifications

• At least 4 years of professional billing experience, particularly with intricate billing scenarios
• Proven ability to analyze ambiguous contract terms and determine precise billing consequences
• Practical familiarity with Zone or equivalent NetSuite-native billing software
• Proficiency in cash and payment applications, including matching and posting customer payments
• Experience with Salesforce for navigating contract and account details
