Senior Billing Specialist

Job Summary

To support the growing complexity of billing operations, the full-time remote Senior Billing Specialist will manage invoice accuracy, daily cash applications, and provide guidance on billing workflows while collaborating closely with team members.

Key responsibilities

• Review customer contracts to determine correct billing treatment and process invoices for complex scenarios
• Respond to customer billing inquiries and perform daily cash application by matching payments to invoices
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and coordinate follow-ups on past-due accounts with relevant teams

Required qualifications

• At least 4 years of professional billing experience with intricate billing scenarios
• Proven ability to analyze ambiguous contract terms for precise billing outcomes
• Practical familiarity with billing software such as Zone or equivalent NetSuite-native systems
• Proficiency in cash and payment applications, including matching and posting customer payments
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset for guiding team members on workflows
