Senior Biological Data Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Biological Data Scientist.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and interpret analyses of quantitative and binary traits in large-scale population cohorts
• Perform integrative analyses of human genetics and EHR data for target identification and biomarker discovery
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate analytical findings into actionable insights

Required Qualifications

• PhD in Statistical Genetics, Human Genetics, Computational Biology, or related disciplines with 3+ years of industry experience
• Hands-on experience with UK Biobank and All of Us data, including knowledge of their data architecture
• Proficiency in Python programming language
• Experience with QC, analysis, and interpretation of human genetics data
• Familiarity with large-scale human genomics databases and experience in Unix/Linux and cloud-based environments
