Senior Biostatistician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Biostatistician to support real-world data projects through study design, analysis, and interpretation.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate on statistical analysis plans for EHR and claims-based studies and validate data definitions
• Conduct complex statistical analyses using R or Python and ensure quality of results through QC processes
• Interpret findings and generate insights for various stakeholders, while providing mentorship to junior team members

Required Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Mathematics, Epidemiology, Health Economics, Data Science, or related field
• 5+ years of applied statistical experience with EHR and/or claims data
• Strong programming skills in R and SQL; experience with Python, PySpark, or Databricks is a plus
• Proven expertise in advanced statistical methods and understanding of biases in real-world data
• Experience with structured health data and medical ontologies such as ICD-10 and CPT
