Senior Biostatistician

Job Summary

To support cardiovascular research initiatives, the part-time Senior Biostatistician will lead study design, author statistical analysis plans, and serve as the principal statistician for observational studies in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead study and protocol design, independently authoring statistical analysis plans and statistical sections of grant applications
• Serve as principal statistician across a portfolio of observational studies, applying advanced analytic strategies for real-world data
• Mentor junior biostatisticians and represent biostatistics in cross-functional settings, providing statistical leadership and direction

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree (MS or MPH) with 5-8+ years or a doctoral degree (PhD) with 2-4+ years of applied biostatistics/epidemiology experience
• Demonstrated expertise in advanced methods for observational data, including causal-inference techniques
• Track record of independently authoring statistical analysis plans and statistical sections of protocols or grant applications
• Advanced proficiency in SAS and/or R, as well as SQL
• Substantial experience in real-world evidence and observational research using EHR and clinical registries
