Job Summary
To support a major open-source DeFi initiative, the full-time Senior Blockchain Security Developer will lead the development of the OpenZeppelin Contracts Library for Daml, implement reference protocols, and collaborate with various stakeholders while working remotely within UTC-8 to UTC+3 time zones.
Key responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end development of the OpenZeppelin Contracts Library for Daml, including vaults, hooks, and messaging gateways
- Lead the technical design and implementation of year-1 Reference Implementations such as privacy-preserving DEX and lending protocols
- Collaborate with auditors and security researchers on threat models and audits for every Reference Implementation
Required qualifications
- Production fluency in Daml with experience in shipping non-trivial applications
- 3+ years of experience in UTXO-based protocol development and privacy-preserving architectures
- 3+ years of experience in DeFi engineering with a strong understanding of security pitfalls
- A security-first mindset with demonstrable experience in auditing or hardening production systems
- Experience applying AI to security workflows, including audit assistance and vulnerability research
