Senior BMC Remedy Developer
Job Summary
Supporting and enhancing a highly customized Remedy-based application, the Senior BMC Remedy Developer will work full-time on a contract basis, focusing on troubleshooting production issues and extending functionality across Remedy, Oracle, and integration layers for a 24x7 contact center platform serving state Medicaid programs.
Key responsibilities
- Enhance and troubleshoot a heavily customized BMC Remedy application to ensure seamless operation of critical business workflows
- Analyze and comprehend existing codebase logic to safely extend application functionality across various technology layers
- Collaborate with a small development team to maintain and improve the platform supporting Medicaid contact center operations
Required qualifications
- Extensive hands-on experience in BMC Remedy development beyond standard ITSM functionalities
- Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL-SQL for database interactions
- Strong understanding of scripting, APIs, and integrations related to BMC Remedy
- Ability to read and reason through complex existing code and workflows
- Experience working in a 24x7 operational environment with critical system requirements
