Senior Body Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Lead Engineer - Body.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of body components and systems, ensuring robust designs that meet performance, cost, and timing goals
• Coordinate and manage resources for body engineering activities and establish priorities for delegated work
• Conduct body design reviews and manage documentation for project planning, status reporting, and quality assurance

Required Qualifications

• Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with eight or more years of related experience
• Experience with automotive body engineering and the release of body components and assemblies
• Familiarity with engineering problem-solving tools such as DFMEA, DVP, and GD&T
• Knowledge of body materials and joining technologies
• Experience with CAD systems, preferably Catia
