Senior Broker - Advanced Waste Shipper

Job Summary

Providing senior technical leadership in waste management, the part-time Senior Broker - Advanced Waste Shipper will manage planning, characterization, and disposal of various regulated waste streams while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead planning, coordination, and execution of waste management activities, including characterization and disposal strategy development
• Prepare and review shipping papers, manifests, and regulatory documentation while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure safe and efficient project execution

Required qualifications:

• Experience in planning and executing waste management activities
• Knowledge of Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
• Familiarity with hazardous waste management and disposal practices
• Professional certifications related to waste management and regulatory compliance
• Ability to maintain current knowledge of evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practices
