Senior Budget Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Budget Analyst to support the central Office of Budget & Planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile and review budgets for organizational units using various financial data sources
• Prepare financial plans, monitor implementation of financial policies, and analyze trends
• Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct scenario and sensitivity planning for strategic decision-making

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
• 3-5 years of work experience, preferably in a university environment
• Deep understanding of GAAP and regulatory standards for the higher education industry
• Experience creating board-level presentations and proficiency in PowerPoint
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in BI tools and advanced Excel skills
