Senior Build Engineer
Job Summary
Owning and improving the systems and infrastructure for development pipelines, the full-time Senior Build Engineer will optimize build automation and continuous integration processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams, with a preference for on-site work in Austin, Texas, though remote work within the United States is an option.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize build and integration systems while troubleshooting complex issues
- Implement and manage CI/CD systems, focusing on automation and development infrastructure
- Lead technical initiatives and mentor junior engineers in best practices for build and automation
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in build engineering, automation, or DevOps within game or software development
- Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD systems such as TeamCity, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages
- Experience with Unreal Engine, including building pipelines and managing large codebases
- Extensive experience with Perforce administration and optimization in a game development environment
