Senior Building Science Analyst
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Building Science Analyst to support residential energy efficiency programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with architects, builders, and energy raters to enhance performance-driven design
- Evaluate new products and technologies for residential buildings and ensure compliance with energy codes
- Develop technical training materials and conduct training sessions for internal and external stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in residential energy efficiency, building performance, or construction
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Building Science or a related field
- Experience with energy modeling tools such as REM/Rate, BEopt, or HOT2000
- Knowledge of ENERGY STAR for Homes and similar energy efficiency programs
- Familiarity with residential HVAC systems, insulation practices, and moisture control strategies
