Senior Business Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Business Analyst / Financial Data Analyst to support the Department of Transportation's National Highway Traffic Safety Administration DATA Act program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a liaison between program staff and technical teams to translate business needs into data solutions
• Gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements while supporting financial data analysis and reporting
• Develop dashboards and data visualizations to communicate insights and analyze large financial datasets for discrepancies and trends

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in business analysis or financial data analysis
• Experience supporting federal clients, particularly within DOT or DATA Act environments
• Strong understanding of financial data and compliance frameworks
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and scripting
• Experience building dashboards and visualizations in Power BI or similar tools
