Senior Business Analyst

Job Summary

To support healthcare clients in achieving their objectives, the full-time remote Senior Business Analyst will coordinate a business analyst team, bridge communication between clients and technical staff, and analyze business processes to enhance technology goals.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the duties and activities of a business analyst team on IT projects while mentoring newer team members
• Define, document, and share business requirements between clients, project managers, and technical staff
• Analyze and improve business processes to support clients' technology goals and verify that all requirements are met through test validation

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role, with at least 3 years in Medicaid and Medicare
• Knowledge of programming concepts, including configuration, development, and batch processing
• Advanced skills in analytical software such as Microsoft Excel or SQL, and familiarity with requirement-mapping tools like Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
• Strong client communication skills and the ability to translate client needs into actionable objectives
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate others and communicate technical ideas effectively
