Senior Business Analyst

Job Summary

To support healthcare clients in improving member well-being, the full-time remote Senior Business Analyst - Benefit Plan Administration will manage business requirements, coordinate project activities, and analyze processes related to Medicaid and Medicare claims.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the duties of a business analyst team and provide mentorship to junior members
• Act as a liaison between clients, project managers, and technical staff to define and document business requirements
• Analyze and document business processes to enhance technology goals and verify compliance with requirements through testing

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Healthcare industry, including 5+ years focused on Medicaid and Medicare
• Experience in documenting requirements for claims, reference, and Benefits Plan Administration areas
• Proficiency in analytical tools such as Microsoft Excel and SQL
• Knowledge of claims testing, edits, audits, and computer programming concepts
• Strong analytical and business process re-engineering skills
