Senior Business Analyst

Job Summary

Bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, the full-time Senior Business Analyst will elicit, analyze, and detail business requirements for customer-facing and internal web applications while working remotely in India.

Key responsibilities

• Lead requirement gathering sessions with US-based clients and operational teams, translating complex payer business rules into structured documentation
• Map and optimize core payer workflows, ensuring compliance with US Healthcare regulations and working extensively with EDI healthcare transactions
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to define functional requirements for web components and support testing and implementation processes

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of Business Analysis experience, including a minimum of 3 years in the US Healthcare Payer domain
• Proven track record managing enterprise B2B or B2C web applications or portals
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum environments and experience with tools like Jira and Confluence
• Solid understanding of relational databases with the ability to write intermediate SQL queries
• Familiarity with web services architectures such as REST/SOAP APIs and a grasp of core US Payer concepts
