Senior Business Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Business Analyst will serve as a crucial link between clients and technical teams, managing business requirements and operational deliverables while supporting healthcare technology initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Define, document, and communicate actionable business requirements while coordinating the activities of the business analyst team
• Analyze and recommend improvements to business processes to align with client technology goals, proactively addressing issues as they arise
• Act as a liaison for data gathering and support the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS), organizing client meetings and delivering reports as needed

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role, with at least 3 years in Medicaid and Medicare claims, and essential MMIS experience
• Advanced proficiency in analytical software, particularly Microsoft Excel and SQL, as well as requirement-mapping tools
• Strong client communication skills with the ability to translate client needs into actionable objectives
• Proven analytical and business process re-engineering skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture
