Senior Business Analyst

Job Summary

To drive the modernization of a mission-critical legacy platform for the Department of Homeland Security, the full-time Senior Business Analyst will work remotely, focusing on researching and gathering requirements, defining future-state business processes, and supporting a clear modernization roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Research and gather requirements while defining future-state business processes for a legacy platform transformation
• Translate mission objectives into actionable requirements and user stories, ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs
• Support Agile ceremonies and cross-team coordination, presenting new technologies and initiatives to enhance platform workflows

Required qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen and able to pass a Public Trust background investigation
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Minimum of 10+ years of work experience in business analysis or related roles
• Experience with the Atlassian Suite (Jira/Confluence) for project tracking and documentation
• Proven ability to develop comprehensive documentation and process maps that meet organizational standards
