Senior Business Analyst
Job Summary
To support multiple technology initiatives aimed at improving outcomes for Texas students, the full-time Senior Business Analyst will perform advanced systems analysis, manage requirements, and act as a liaison between technical teams and stakeholders while working remotely 80% to 100% of the time.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze user needs and business processes to improve existing systems through elicitation and requirements gathering
- Transform information from elicitation sessions into clear business and functional requirements, use cases, and documentation
- Mentor peers on best practices and effectively use TEA tools to manage change control and track requirements status
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience with relational database concepts and data analysis for system processing and reporting
- 8+ years of experience using SQL or query tools for data retrieval, validation, and reconciliation
- 8+ years of experience leading elicitation meetings and creating comprehensive system and technical requirements
- 5+ years of experience collaborating with developers, architects, and vendors in support of the SDLC
- 3+ years of experience supporting large-scale IT projects involving multiple stakeholders
