Senior Business Analyst
Job Summary
To drive the modernization of a mission-critical legacy platform, the full-time Senior Business Analyst will work remotely or from the Washington, D.C. office, focusing on gathering requirements, defining future-state business processes, and supporting a modernization roadmap for the Department of Homeland Security.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate program materials and develop innovative approaches for improvement
- Document and analyze business and functional requirements for accurate translation into process maps and technical system requirements
- Create project schedules with dependencies and clear definitions of done for stakeholder briefings
Required qualifications
- Must have US citizenship and the ability to pass a Public Trust investigation
- Bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum of 10 years of general work experience or 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience in systems analysis and design of information systems programs and related business processes (SDLC)
- Proven experience coordinating teams to deliver complex technical implementations and systems integrations projects
- Familiarity with Agile processes and experience gathering end user requirements to implement streamlined customer experience solutions
