Senior Business Analyst
Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time temporary basis, the Senior Business Analyst will serve as a key liaison between business and technology teams, leading requirements elicitation and analysis for strategic initiatives within the insurance industry.
Key responsibilities
- Lead requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, validation, and traceability activities for medium-to-large initiatives
- Analyze current and future business processes to identify opportunities for operational improvement and enhanced customer experiences
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst
- Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business and system requirements
- Proficiency in producing requirements in BDD format and developing SQL queries
- Experience working in Agile environments utilizing Scrum and/or Kanban methodologies
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree preferred
