Senior Business Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting an upcoming federal program remotely, the Senior Management Business Analyst will serve as the senior functional link between DOL accountants and system developers, managing requirements, testing, and resolving complex production issues within the Oracle E-Business Suite Federal Financials.

Key responsibilities

• Own requirements gathering, testing, and the resolution of production issues to ensure the New Core Financial Management System is audit-ready
• Conduct functional business process analysis and maintain requirements traceability throughout the SDLC
• Develop test scenarios and execute various testing phases while documenting results and coordinating defect resolution

Required qualifications

• Minimum 9 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, with federal financial systems experience preferred
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite Federal Financials
• Proven ability to analyze and document business and functional requirements, including authoring functional design documents
• Experience in test planning and execution, including developing test scripts and managing defect resolution
• Knowledge of federal financial management compliance drivers and structured change control processes
