Senior Business Analyst - Commercial Lines

Job Summary

Leading business analysis activities for large-scale P&C insurance transformation initiatives, the full-time Senior Business Analyst - Commercial Lines will focus on commercial lines products, translating business needs into functional requirements and ensuring alignment with underwriting workflows and policy lifecycle processes in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead workshops to elicit and document business requirements for commercial lines products
• Translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Act as a primary liaison between business and IT teams, managing stakeholder expectations and driving consensus

Required qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the insurance domain
• Proven experience with policy administration platforms such as Duck Creek or Guidewire
• Hands-on experience across Commercial Lines products, including General Liability and Commercial Property
• In-depth understanding of underwriting processes, rating methodologies, and policy lifecycle
• Experience delivering across the full SDLC lifecycle, including requirements gathering and testing support
